TECQ - Water Rate Protest

T&W Water has 1550 customers, out of which, 119 have already protested the proposed water rate increase.  Ten percent or 155 are needed to call for a hearing.  The rate is set to go into effect August 15, and customers have 90 days from that date to protest.   If you haven't done so already, make the effort to help prevent this large increase.

Welcome to the RiverWalk POA community site!  We are a  deed restricted acreage community located in Porter, Texas, in SE Montgomery County.  Our schools are part of New Caney ISD.
RiverWalk is made up of 5 sections with a private lake park for residents to enjoy.

The POA business office is located at 24420 FM 1314, #4
Village Park Office Suites in Porter.
About a block from Hwy 59.

The POA Office is NOT located at the entrance to Riverwalk. That building belongs to a seperate business and is not part of the subdivision.

The purpose of this site is to allow the property owners to stay informed, communicate and plan events. Please come back often as we add new features to this site.  You must be a Registered Member to access all of the site features.

Subdivision Management: The Riverwalk Subdivision is managed and operated by the Property Owners Association(POA).

  • All property owners are members of the POA and pay annual Maintenance Fees.
  • The POA is managed by the Board of Directors who are elected property owners and Volunteers.
  • The Board oversees the finances, property maintenance, security and the deed restriction enforcement.
  • The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) oversees and permits new construction and improvements in the subdivision.
  • No new development....in 2005/06 the developer (Riverwalk Inc. aka Riverwalk Ventures, Ltd. ) sold their last lot and in Feb. 2006 the subdivision control was turned over to the Property Owners and all Developer authority was assigned to the POA.
  • Lots for sale? Private property owners and Realtors have lots and homes listed for resale. See the current listings in the Tools & Info section.
